Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about licensing, coverage, reporting and pricing.

Are your officers licensed and insured?

Yes. Guardian Defense Group LLC operates under Maryland license No. 26PLU-SG75855 and carries commercial liability coverage. Every officer is screened, licensed and background checked before deployment.

Do you provide armed and unarmed officers?

Both. Unarmed officers deliver visible deterrence and customer service, while armed officers are used where the threat assessment calls for it. We'll recommend the right posture during your free consultation.

How quickly can coverage start?

For most standard posts we can staff within 24 to 48 hours. Emergency and short-notice requests are handled through our 24/7 dispatch line — call us and we'll tell you honestly what we can cover.

Do you require a long-term contract?

No. We handle one-night events, short-term construction phases and ongoing long-term contracts. Rates are quoted per post, per hour, based on scope and risk.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on hours, number of posts, armed vs unarmed, and whether vehicles or patrols are involved. Consultations and site assessments are always free and there is no obligation.

Will I get reports on what happened during a shift?

Yes. Officers submit detailed activity, incident and patrol reports with timestamps. Clients receive them per shift or on a schedule that fits their operation.

What areas do you cover?

Maryland based · Proudly serving MD & surrounding areas. If you're just outside our normal footprint, call and ask — we frequently travel for events and multi-site clients.

Do you offer mobile patrol instead of a stationed officer?

Yes. Mobile patrol is a cost-effective option for large properties or overnight coverage: marked vehicles run randomized checks and respond to alarms rather than staying at one post.
